Linda Dawn Vangeli

Linda Dawn Vangeli passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on April 30th, 2025 at Banner Medical Center in Casper Wyoming.

Linda was born to Richard (Pete) and Georgia Vangeli on August 15th, 1945.

She was born and raised on a little island fishing community on the coast of Maine. Though she lived many years away, Stonington, Maine is where her heart remained. She always had a story or two to tell about the place she loved best, MAINE.

She worked the majority of her adult life as a CNA. She worked at the Douglas Senior Center, Douglas, Wyoming, for 12 years prior to her retirement in 2023. She did what she did best, which was caring for others.

She was the most caring and selfless person you could ever know. She always put others before herself. She also had the strength of steel. She never complained about anything, even throughout all of her cancer treatments. She was a fighter.

Faith and family are what she lived for, and on April 30th, 2025, Heaven gained a beautiful angel. She will be dearly missed.

Linda is survived by her sister, Maria Bois, of Maine, three children; Sons Thomas St. Gelais, of Maine, and Glenn (Crystal) St. Gelais, of Wyoming, and Daughter Monique St. Gelais, of Wyoming. She is also survived by 6 grandsons, 3 granddaughters, and 6 great grandchildren, as well as Niece Patricia Haldas (Bois), and nephew Danny Bois.
