Lorrie Cumming (Blake), 89, of Casper, Wyoming, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2026.

Lorrie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Cumming, and her brother, Raymond Blake. She leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory: her children, David Schafer, Susan Meade (David), Leslie Nehibia (Mark), Sandra Defazio (Christian), and bonus daughter Stacey Harper (Jason); her siblings, James Blake, Dorthy Schere, Susan Shorge, and Bernie Blake; along with 8 grandchildren, 4 bonus grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, one on the way.

Lorrie lived a full and vibrant life centered around family, love, and adventure. She was an avid sports fan who loved cheering for her favorite teams and sharing that excitement with those around her. She treasured traveling in the RV with her husband John, especially to her favorite NASCAR races, creating countless memories along the way. One special chapter of her life was working alongside her son at Ashley’s House Bed and Breakfast in Ohio, a time she deeply enjoyed.

She was especially proud of her growing family and the joy they brought to her life. Her warmth, strength, and spirited personality will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

At this time, no services are planned. A celebration of Lorrie’s life will be held at a later date in Florida, where she will be laid to rest beside her husband, John.

Her family finds comfort in knowing Lorrie and John are reunited once again.

“I gotta go.”
