Marguerite S. "Peggy" Phillips

Marguerite "Peggy" Sue Phillips born September 11, 1947 in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin to Bernard and Joyce (Zingsheim) Milligan the 5th of 8 children. She passed away Monday, December 15, 2025 in Casper, Wyoming.

She graduated from St. Mary's Springs Academy 1965 in Fond du Lac, WI and graduated from St. Agnes Hospital School of Radiologic Technologists in 1978 also in Fond du Lac, WI. Peggy took various classes at Casper College.

In 1967 she married Michael Wirtz in Fond du Lac, WI, and they had 2 sons. In 1973 she married Thomas Phillips in Fond du Lac, WI. She and Tom moved to Casper Wyoming in 1978. She worked as an x-ray technologist and bookkeeper. She worked for Dr. Dan Grinstead for 20 years from 1985 to 2005.

She was involved with Mensa, Senior water class, Movie/dinner group, and several groups at St. Patrick's Church.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Phillips of Casper; son, Scott Wirtz of Casper; grandchildren, Cameron Wirtz of Colorado; and Payton and Cole Wirtz both of Casper; siblings, Timothy (Sue) Milligan of Wisconsin; Barbara Milligan of Wisconsin; brother-in-law, Daniel (Jeanie) Trudeau of Minnesota; sister-in-law, Kathleen Milligan of Minnesota; sister-in-law, Linda Milligan of New Jersey; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Victor Wirtz; sisters, Kathleen Trudeau and Sally McClellan; and brothers, William Milligan; Michael Milligan; and Patrick Milligan.
