Maria R. "Ria" Hopkins

Maria Hopkins, age 87, of Bar Nunn, Wyoming passed away Friday, January 9, 2026 after lengthy illness.

She is survived by son, Danny (Susan) Hopkins of Maryville, Tennessee; daughter, Debbie (Monte) Nelms of Bar Nunn, Wyoming; six granddaughters, 11 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild; sister, Leni (Don) Presley of Maryville, Tennessee; brother, Gunter Ring of Bingen, Germany; and several nieces and nephews.

Maria was born in Bingen, Germany and became a military wife who traveled from base to base with her husband and children for 20 years.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Larry E. Hopkins; and son, Ronald D. Hopkins.

Maria, known by all as Ria, enjoyed honky tonkin', karaoke, dancing, bingo, shopping, and spending time with family and friends.

She will be missed by all.
