Dr. Marie Y. Larson

Dr. Marie Larson was born on January 25, 1938 in Greybull, Wyoming. Her family operated a dairy farm in Greybull. She remembered helping to herd the cows on horseback as a young person. She had an older sister named Wilma Jean but lost touch with her over the years. After high school she attended university at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado in Veterinary science. She graduated with a doctorate degree in Veterinary science. After graduation she opened her own Veterinary business in Casper, Wyoming which she ran successfully for many years. Dr. Larson cared deeply about the animals brought into her clinic as well as her own cats and dogs. She lived alone and considered her animals her family.
