Marjorie Frances Love died on June 4, 2026. She fractured her hip and is not in any pain anymore because she is in heaven with her mother and father, Charlie Thomas Hearn and Gladys May Walker.

Marjorie Love was married to Donald Arthur Lindroos and Otis Claire Love. Marjorie was proud to say she will be buried between two men… imagine that!

Her brother Leslie C. Hearn served in the Army during WWII in France. The war ended in Europe in May of 1944. He earned a Master’s Degree from the University of Wyoming. Leslie’s was a Math teacher at Midwest Wyoming. Thereafter, Leslie was a Principal at Willard School starting in 1955 and he retired in 1985 (over 33 years!). Leslie died in 1986. Marjorie’s sister, Doris Zelenka was a life-long resident of Rock Springs, Wyoming. Another brother, Jackie, died in the early 1930’s.

She enjoyed reading, playing cribbage, pinochle, and bowling. Both Otis and Marjorie were members of the Go-sters and Lamplighters camping clubs. She loved the Denver Broncos, then switched to the Buffalo Bills because of Josh Allen, and always watched their games. And of course, Marjorie took care of her family. She worked for the Rock Springs Rocket Miner Newspaper. Also, Marjorie worked for Dowell Schlumberger until she retired. Otis and Marjorie were members of the Elks Lodge and the National Camper’s Association in Casper. They loved their dogs, Popo, a black poodle and Bobo, an apricot poodle. Otis won a trip to Disney World and Wheel of Fortune.

Otis, Marge, and David visited the Spruce Goose in Long Beach Harbor built by Howard Hughes.

Marjorie was born in the coal camp of Winton, Wyoming on October 15th, 1930. She was 95 years old.

Her son is David Arthur Lindroos. He currently hangs his hat Houston, Texas his home. Marjorie’s daughter is Kris Baxter. She currently resides in Colorado, it’s her home. Kris’s son Tyler Baxter, and his girlfriend Kayla, calls their home California. Our mom and dad took care of us when we were young. Now it is time for Kris’ and David’s turn to take care of our Mom. We tried the best we could and have no regrets.

Marjorie’s daughter-in-law, Isabelle M. Lindroos, was married in Casper, Wyoming in 1985 to David Lindroos. Leslie Hearn served as the Father during the wedding. Isabelle died on November 26, 2024. Marjorie’s son-in-law, David L. Baxter was married in Casper, Wyoming, to Kris Baxter, died in 2013.

Marjorie’s niece, Janie (Zelenka) Curtis currently resides in Rock Springs, along with her son Kenny Curtis. Zachary Zanetti hangs his hat in Casper, Wyoming. 

Eva and Jack Walker were Marjorie’s Aunt and Uncle, Auntie Eva was a second mother to her family.

Marjorie had a brother-in-law, named Robert Lindroos and a sister-in-law, named Donna Lindroos. She had a sister-in-law named Betty (Lindroos) Hanke. And another brother-in-law named Leonard Hanke. Marjorie’s father-in-law was Eric Lindroos and her mother in-law was Elsie Lindroos. Marjorie had numerous nieces and nephews from Betty’s family.

Marjorie’s nieces are Vickie (Mattila) and Janet (Mattila) Reichert. She remained in contact with them throughout her life and up until Marjorie’s death. Vickie and Janet were special to us. They were from Hanna, Wyoming.

Marjorie’s Celebration of Life is scheduled for 2:00pm on June 19th, 2026 (Juneteenth) at Newcomer Funeral, 710 East Second Street, Casper, Wyoming, 82601. A Viewing for family and friends will begin at 12:00pm. Marjorie has many friends in Casper and Rock Springs, we would be blessed to attend this celebration of life!

She will be buried in Rock Springs, Wyoming. A celebration of life is pending with Autumn at Vase Funeral Home in Rock Springs. A Congregation Pastor will officiate.

Thank you to John and Kathy Christensen who are very dear to Marjorie, David Lindroos, and Kris Baxter, since 1971, 55 years – They love us and have been very special part of our family!

Marjorie brought life and humor to everything and everyone she came in contact with. We are blessed to have known her – Rachel, Lacey, Christine, Jazzmin - In Home Staff at the Casper Senior Center.

Everyone enjoyed Marjorie at the Casper Senior Center. A reception with refreshments will be served: Cookies, Tea, Coffee, Water, Apple, Cherry, Peach, Banana Cream, Blueberry and Pecan Pie will follow services at 3:00 PM on June 19th, 2026, Casper Senior Center, 1831 E 4th St, Casper, WY 82601.
