Listen to Obituary

Marlene was born January 27, 1935 in Blue Earth, Minnesota to Henry and Catherine Schimek the oldest of six. She passed away at the age of 90, in Casper, Wyoming on September 19, 2025.

Although she didn't know it at the time, Marlene's steps were ordered by God serving as a School Sister of Notre Dame for 12 years, receiving her Master's in education before meeting her husband, John.

Marlene married John Aloisio on August 1, 1970. They were parents to Susan, Rose, David, and Catherine Rita. Her aim in life was making life easier for others.

Marlene had a deep love of God as her Father, Friend, and Guider; she was a huge reader from childhood. Marlene enjoyed "croshitting" and so many crafts from needlepoint to diamond art. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren lovingly called her Granny Annie Appleseed and Gigi.

She was preceded in death by her daughters, Catherine Rita Aloisio and Rose Ann Hill; siblings Karen Brown, and Henry and Jim Schimek, grandson, John David Daniel Aloisio.

Marlene is survived by her children, Susan and David (Stacy); brothers, Maury and Quentin; grandchildren, Salina (Alvin); Teanna; Kody; Checarai; Michael (Shelby); Amanda; Haeley; Catherine; Giovonnie; Henry "Sonny"; and Amy (Steven); great-grandchildren, Korbian; Paityn; Zy'ier; Gannon; Clayton; Aiden; Tanner; Avalynn; Savannah; and Isabel.

Marlene lived a full life of love, laughter, and kindness. In her passing she wishes that you will celebrate her life in your own way.
