Martin Ryan Lloyd, 46 of Rock Springs Wyoming, passed away in Casper, Wyoming on December 20th, 2025.
Martin, well known as Marty, was born in Ashland Oregon on October 3rd, 1979 to parents Larry Lloyd Sr. and Cheryl Harder Lloyd and remained an Oregon resident for the first 12 years of his life, fostering his love for nature, where he felt the most at peace during the remainder of his life.
Martin met the mother of his children, Heather Froling, in 1997. His daughter Sierra joined them on December 22, 2000 and his son, Brody, joined them on March 13, 2003. Marty loved both of his children with all of his heart, always encouraging them to become the most successful versions of themselves and to create the best life that they can. His proudest accomplishments lie in what his children have, and will continue to, accomplish in their lives.
Marty’s career was as an automotive salesman, serving the communities he was a part of for over 2 decades and creating lifelong friendships with his work teams and customers in both Casper and Rock Springs Wyoming.
In his life, Marty loved many things. He loved riding his bikes, he loved to go camping, he loved food and cooking for his loved ones, he loved learning new things and sharing them with others, he loved speaking with people and would have long talks with strangers wherever he went. He loved technology, especially his drones which he flew in every place he visited in an attempt to catch something magical in the sky wherever he may have been. Marty loved music, and you would never see him anywhere without his air pods in, jamming along.
Marty was also a man who struggled extensively with his mental health throughout both his teenage and adulthood years. His struggle with mental health coincided with his struggle with addiction. Marty left this earth in a dark place he felt was impossible to get out of, and his family prays for his eternal peace in whatever is next for him beyond the veil.
Marty was survived by his children, Sierra Lloyd 25, of Casper Wyoming, Brody Lloyd 22, of Casper Wyoming, his parents, Larry Sr. & Cheryl Lloyd of Rock Springs Wyoming, his brothers, Richard Lloyd of Rock Springs Wyoming, Larry Lloyd Jr., of Rock Springs Wyoming as well as his various nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends all around the country.
Marty was preceded in death by his brother, Brent Lloyd, of Rock Springs Wyoming, his paternal grandparents Charles and Bobbie Jean Lloyd, and his maternal grandparents Wallace and Irma Harder.
The Lloyd family wants to extend our most heartfelt condolences and prayers to the other family and members of the community who were affected by this horrible accident.
