Mary Elizabeth Davis

Mary Elizabeth Davis, 61, of Casper, Wyoming, passed away peacefully, March 25th, 2026. Leaving behind a legacy of strength, love, and unwavering faith. She was born on November 8, 1964, in Marion, Ohio.

Mary was a devoted mother to Derek (Lauren) Reents, Lauren (Christopher) Miller, and Nicole (Marco) Gabriel, and a deeply cherished grandmother to Stetson, David, Gideon, Cisco, Rylan, Azariah, Bodhi, Jace, Ezekiel, Braylee, Jethro, and Eliana. Her grandchildren were her world—they brought her immeasurable joy and were the center of her heart.

For 37 years, Mary courageously battled Multiple Sclerosis with grace—and, as those who loved her would fondly say, “a little grumbling.” Her strength through life’s challenges was unmatched, and she remained a source of inspiration to everyone who knew her. She endured more than most ever should, yet carried herself with resilience, dignity, and faith.

Mary had a gift for making things with her hands and found joy in crafting, creating, and sharing that creativity with others. More than anything, she created a home filled with warmth, comfort, and acceptance. Her house was a safe haven—especially during her children’s teenage years—where friends would gather, knowing they would be welcomed, cared for, and loved.

She will be remembered as compassionate, God-fearing, trustworthy, and a keeper of confidences. Mary had a rare ability to make others feel seen, safe, and understood.

Her favorite scripture, Isaiah 40:31, reflects the faith she lived by: “but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." This promise carried her through life and now serves as a reminder of the peace she has found.

Mary’s legacy lives on in the lives she touched, the family she nurtured, and the love she gave so freely. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A Celebration of Life for Mary will be held Saturday April 4th, 2026, at 2pm at Paradise Valley Christian Church, 188 Valley Drive, Casper, Wyoming.
