Listen to Obituary

Michele Ann Kientz, age 58, of Casper, Wyoming, left this Earth and joined her mother in Heaven on December 12, 2025, surrounded by her loving children, grandchildren, big brother, and many others. Michele was born on December 31, 1966, in Casper, Wyoming to Geraldine Dressler and Charles Kientz. She was a free spirit, roaming to all places and making a home wherever she went. She dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren.

If you knew Michele, you knew her strength. She left an imprint on every person she met. She was rough around the edges, independent, and incredibly capable. She worked on cars, fixed most things with her hands, cooked the best food, and took pride in her supervisor roles over her life. Above all, she would give the shirt off her back and leave herself with nothing for anyone.

Though her life was not easy, she was always laughing. Her giggle was infectious, one of a kind, and unforgettable. She was the best cook, and always opened her kitchen to her kid’s friends, often “adopting” them as her own. She was mom to all. She dedicated her life to making sure her children always stayed together, and understood their love is irreplaceable.

Though she had unwavering love for each of her kids, her grandchildren brightened her life. She often mentioned how her grandchildren reminded her of her babies as babies, and you could see it in her eyes when she looked at them.

Her greatest qualities were the love and forgiveness she had for everyone.

She enjoyed thrift shopping, creating picture collages, making green chili, and spending time with her loved ones, especially her son Dro and grandson Emilio.

She leaves behind her loving family who she has singlehandedly kept together to prepare for this moment. Her children Cruz (Taylor) Kientz, Gabriella Arriaga, Alejandro Arriaga, Alejandra (Joseph) Rogi, and Enrique (Kyra) Arriaga, Chiko (Leah) Fernandez, her grandchildren Rojelio, Emilio, Myleana, Soriya, Lilliana, Kirana, Dakota, Tucker, Roman, Nariah, Crue, and Amari, her siblings Michael (Xylon and Xavier) and Cheryl (Joseph and Christopher), her best friend April, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and “adopted” kids.

She is preceded in death by her favorite person; her mother, Geraldine Dressler, as well as her Aunt Emma Lou Smith & Uncle Luke Decoteau.

As Michele starts her journey to a place where she will not be in pain, may she experience the joys of happiness, love and peace. She will be missed by many people, especially her kids and grandkids.

Her memorial services will be at Newcomer Funeral Home followed by a reception on her birthday, December 31, 2025. All who loved her in any part of her life are welcome.
