Michelle Reese

Carol Michelle Reese, 55, of Casper, Wyoming, passed away on July 13, 2025.

Born on May 22, 1970, Michelle was a proud graduate of Natrona County High School, Class of 1988. During her high school years, she began working in the kitchen at Wyoming Medical Center. Over the next 16 years, she advanced through the Nutrition Services department and other areas of the hospital—work she took great pride in and truly enjoyed.

Michelle found happiness in cheering on her beloved New York Giants, watching college football, and indulging in her many creative hobbies. She had a passion for crafting—especially crochet, cross stitch, and diamond painting—and she poured her heart into every piece she made. Her home was made warmer by the love she had for her cherished cats most recently “Lil Girl and Smudge”, who brought her daily comfort and companionship.

She is survived by her daughters, Shandell (Glenn) Payne and Kaysey (Joe) Perea, who will carry forward her compassion, wit, and creativity. Michelle also leaves behind her loving sisters, Misti Reese and Tammy (Ellory) Myers; her brothers, Tab and Scott Rizzotto; and a large, blended extended family who will miss her deeply.

Michelle was preceded in death by her father, Francis Reese; her parents, Connie and Neil Rizzotto; three sets of grandparents; and several cherished aunts and uncles.

In honor of Michelle’s deep love for animals, the family kindly requests that donations be made to your local humane society in her memory.

Her spirit, humor, and kindness will be remembered always and she will be deeply missed.
