Memorial services for Nella Louise Vasquez will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at Bethel Baptist Church with Pastor Helen Schindler officiating. She died on March 31, 2012 as a result of injuries sustained in an auto-pedestrian accident.
Nella was born on October 24, 1946 in Casper, Wyoming to Alice and Paul Bailey.
She is survived by 2 brothers; Michael and David Bailey and 5 children; Chris, Mary, Bruce, JoJo and Michael.
She was regarded in the community and was Alice Bailey's caregiver for 5 years. She served her God and fellow man with joy and humility, and literally gave her shirt off her back to a person in need.
Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the 12-24 Club, 500 S. Wolcott, Suite 200, Casper, WY 82601 or Bethel Baptist Church, 3030 S. Poplar St. Casper, WY 82604.
