It is with heavy hearts and profound love that we announce the passing of our beloved sister and aunt, Olive Elaine Kiernan, 91, of Casper Wyoming, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2026 surrounded by her family.
Born on July 26, 1934, in the Bronx, New York, Olive approached life with a mischievous wit, boundless curiosity, and a firm belief that growing older never meant growing up. She happily skipped the traditional route—never marrying, throwing out the rulebook, and always choosing a spontaneous adventure over boring normalcy.
Olive held deep convictions in her Catholic faith, was a loyal friend to all, and tenderly cared for her own aunt and mother in their times of need. Her sharp wit and joyful memories will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
She leaves behind a family inspired by her remarkable spirit and drive; her brother, John Kiernan; her niece, Kathryn Rose Kiernan; and a global network of friends. She joins her late mother, Rose Regan Kiernan, and her father, Johnny Kiernan, on next her big adventure.
A celebration of Olive's adventurous life will be held on August 14th at 10:30 AM Highland Cemetery. The graveside service will be presided by Father Clark of Our Lady of Fatima. In honor of her vibrant spirit, the family requests that attendees wear bright colors or outdoor attire, and definitely comfortable shoes. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Our Lady of Fatima in Olive’s memory.
