As one of the most steadfast pillars of her family, Patricia's legacy is defined by her nurturing spirit. Her life was marked by incredible accomplishments, including a joyful 66 years of marriage and her ability to learn, adapt, and flourish as she discovered new passions after marrying. Patricia took pride in learning to cook and delighting family gatherings, where her culinary skills brought warmth and togetherness to her loved ones.
Throughout her professional journey, Patricia held various roles that reflected her giving nature and commitment to service. She began her career as an operator at Pacific Bell, where she connected people with kindness and efficiency. Patricia then blossomed into a Music Librarian at her local church in San Diego, sharing her knowledge and passion for music with her community. In a particularly heartwarming chapter of her life, she became a bus driver for her son's Christian Bible School. Further demonstrating her dedication to the Lord, she and Earl visited Peru several times sharing the good news of Jesus with those in need.
Among the many joyous memories stitched together throughout her lifespan, Patricia’s grandchildren often fondly recall sleepovers at grandma's house, wrapped in the warmth of her love and the comfort of her prayers. Known as a prayer warrior, she encouraged those around her to find strength in their faith, embodying a spirit that was both feisty and endearing. Her nurturing heart and unwavering support left a profound impact on all who knew her.
Patricia was proud of her musical talents, particularly in playing the piano, as she brought holiday cheer to the congregation during Christmas Carols by Candlelight at The Assembly of God Church at Phyllis Place in San Diego.
