Longtime Casper resident Polly Marinich passed away peacefully at her home in Casper, Wyoming, on July 4, 2026 at the age of 100.

Polly will be remembered for her unwavering faith, kind heart, optimistic spirit, and deep love for her family. Her legacy of devotion will live on through those who knew and loved her.

Polly was born in Casper, Wyoming, on November 25, 1925, to Paul and Lucy Marinich. She attended St. Anthony's School and graduated from Natrona County High School. She earned a degree from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Polly was a devoted sister to Mary and Matilda, and the three sisters shared a close bond throughout their lives. As lifelong residents of Casper, they were deeply committed to their community and actively involved in parish life. Polly's Catholic faith was the foundation of her life, and she was a devoted member of St. Anthony's Parish, where she faithfully participated in church activities for many years.

Polly enjoyed a distinguished career in banking and retired as a Vice President at First Interstate Bank. She was respected by her colleagues for her professionalism, integrity, and dedication.

Polly was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Lucy Marinich; her sisters, Mary Goodstein and Matilda Bryans; and her nephew, Robert P. Bryans.

She is survived by her nieces, Victoria Asbell of Lander, Wyoming, and Kaye Heafey of Oakland, California. She also leaves behind one grandniece, one grandnephew, four great-nieces, one great-nephew, and two great-great-nieces, all of whom were blessed by her love and guidance.

The family extends its sincere gratitude to all who cared for Polly throughout her life and especially during her final years.

A Rosary and a Memorial Mass will be held at St. Anthony's Church on a date to be determined.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony's Church, 604 South Center Street, Casper, WY 82601-3133 and Central Wyoming Hospice, 319 South Wilson Street, Casper, WY 82601.
