Listen to Obituary

Randall “Randy” Warren Scott passed away in his sleep on September 18, 2026 at the age of 66. He was born on March 2, 1960, in Casper, Wyoming, to Donald and Diana (Vanatta) Scott. Randy spent most of his life in Casper. After briefly residing in California to attend trade school, he returned home to Wyoming. Randy spent most of his career as a bouncer/security for local bars until an injury forced him into early retirement. He was known as a “tough” guy until his little girl, Sarah, came along and made everything pink and glittery. Even though he still tried to act tough, he willingly changed much of his world pink just for her, and even more so when his granddaughters were born. His saving grace from all the pink was when his grandson came along. Instead of being called Grandpa, he jokingly said that he was “Fatpa” to his granddaughter Katelynn; that stuck, and from that moment on, that was his name from his grandkids. His grandchildren were his pride and joy. Although he didn’t get the chance to be present in his daughter's life until she was older, he thought of his niece Tiffany as his daughter too, and his nephew Chris was like a son. Randy had a really close connection with Tiffany and Chris’s children. He also did with his best friend's son, Tyre Bell, whom he took under his wing. Many people thought of Randall as an Uncle too. Randy collected many, many things: Hot Wheels, motorcycle models, bald eagle collectables, and was an avid Harley-Davidson fan, owning a few in his lifetime. His favorite sports team was the Denver Nuggets. Later in life, he enjoyed creating wood art and painting.

After many years of living life fully on the edge, he found God and gained a strong Faith. He was baptized and fully gave himself to the Lord. He was a member of The Good News Church and was very grateful for his friendship with Pastor Butch Capshaw.

He is survived by his daughter Sarah Kludy, son-in-law Dean Kludy, grandkids: Katelynn Kludy and her fiancé Kirk Daves, Madelynn Kludy and Matthew Kludy; his brother Sam(Winne) Scott and their son Samuel; his sister Tammy York and her children: Tiffany (Buck) Pellman, their children Joshua Townsend and family, Brendan Pellman and family, Brianna Pellman and family; Chris(Trish) York, Austin and his son Cyras, Preston and Alyssa. Also, his older brother, Donald (Mona) Scott, Jr., children: Carrie, Tam Tam, Jeff and Donny I; along with many other great-grand nieces and nephews, cousins and loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his beloved little brother, Floyd Lon Scott; his father, Donald Scott Sr.; his mother, Diana (Vanatta) Hammon; stepdad, Ken Hammon; paternal and maternal grandparents; and his bestfriend, Russell Bell. The family would like to give special thanks to all those involved in caring for Randy during the final chapter of his life, and special thanks to Pathfinder Federal Credit Union staff for all the wonderful, personal banking care over the years. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
