Rebecca Lynn Roby

Rebecca Lynn Roby, of Casper, Passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at the University of Colorado Hospital - Anshutz Campus in Aurora, Colorado. She was born in Borger, TX to Jay and Dotty Franklin. Rebecca grew up in multiple towns over her early years as her father traveled while working on the nation’s pipelines. She later returned to her beloved Borger, TX. where she met and later married the love of her life, Roy Dale Roby on June 29,1961 in Borger, TX. Together they had two children, a son, Rodney DYwain Roby and a daughter, Ranola Ladale Roby Miller. Rebecca lived and raised her 2 children in Borger, TX until 1980 when Roy’s job transferred them to Casper, Wyoming. Rebecca will be remembered as an amazing wife who was married to her best friend for 54 years, and as a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a beloved aunt to 11 nieces and nephews who stayed close to her despite great distances. Her devotion to God, her church and her mission work in Texas, Wyoming, Japan and Spain along with her unfaltering faith is her legacy.

Rebecca is preceded in death by her husband Roy, and her parents. She is survived by her sister, Dana White, her children, Rodney (Patty) Roby and Ranola Miller; grandchildren, Robert Rush (Courtney) Miller, Sara Mayne (Josh) Wallace, Matthew Aaron Miller, Alyssa Grace Miller, Benjamin Williams Miller, and David Edward Sheets; great grandchildren, Kaeda Ileine Miller, Graeson Robert Rush Miller, Isabella Faith Wallace, Calliope Elouise Miller, Thalia Adeline Miller and Patricia Scarlett Sheets.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM, Thursday, July 10, 2025 at Newcomer Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside service will be held 9:00 AM, Friday, July 11, 2025 at Highland Cemetery with a Memorial Service following at 10:30 AM at Boyd Avenue Baptist Church with Rev. Quinn Williams officiating.
