Robyn Denise Murray

Listen to Obituary

Our beloved Robyn Denise Taylor (Murray) left us peacefully in the early morning hours of March 15th, 2026.

A true spitfire, Robyn was born in Casper, Wyoming. The fourth of five children, yet, always the baby sister, absolutely adored by her parents and siblings.

While she and her family moved around early in life, she called Henderson, Nevada her first home. Moving here and there until they eventually settled in Scottsbluff, Nebraska.

She was blessed with five children over the course of the next 18 years. Living in Nebraska for while, then back to Nevada for a spell, and finally making a home in Casper, Wyoming. She loved her children fiercely and raised them all to be very strong and independent people.

Though there were a few contenders in the past, she finally met the love of her life in 2011. She married Mr. James Taylor in September of 2012. Together, they built an incredible relationship with each other and with God. They worked hard to be the greatest grandparents they could.

She found her real stride being a grandmother. She spoiled every last one of her grandkids as often as she could. Sometimes to the chagrin but gratefulness of their parents. If she was a 10/10 mother, she was a 100/10 grandmother.

Robyn was 100% accepting of everyone. She loved all people no matter what walk of life they came from. Everyone was welcome in her home, if they needed anything that she had, they'd have it. She had a loving and addictive personality, loved by most and at least liked by the rest.

She was very proud in finding her place in her church, cementing a place in her ward, in the service of Jesus. Robyn made so many friends that she would consider family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Dennis and Elizabeth Murray, and many aunts and uncles.

She leaves behind her devoted and loving husband James Taylor, her elder brothers Richard and Dennis McVay, her elder sister Lisa Murray (Angel Sanchez Jr,), and her baby brother Corey Murray; her beloved children Daniel Murray (Cassandra Rook), David Murray (Kara Murray), Jessica Wease (Cody Wease), Jamie Lou Strong (Lee Von), and Dallas Murray; her grandbabies Airean Wease, Larz Dimick, Emmy McCollum, Christopher "CJ" McCollum, Jaxon Lee Meyer, and Logan James Murray; and her absolutely spoiled chihuahua/pug mixes Olivia, Maximus, and Bandit. She also leaves behind so very very many more nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and beloved friends that she called family.

She broke every rule and somehow still managed to get by, always stubbornly doing her own thing, right up until the very end. She will be missed forever by everyone that had the privilege of knowing her.
