Roger Edward Durham, 78, from Casper, Wyoming, passed away quietly on October 21, 2025 due to a long illness. Roger was born July 31, 1947 in Thermopolis, Wyoming to LaVonne and Jack Durham.
He was an Army Veteran, who was awarded the National Service Medal, and the Vietnam Service Medal. When he came back from Vietnam, he fell in love and married Jane, they moved to Casper from Thermopolis and raised their family. He worked at Amoco Pipeline as a corrosion specialist until he retired.
He loved camping and hunting, and on a good day, fishing.
Roger is survived by sisters, Jackie (Dennis) Sparks and Gail Barr; brother, Rick Durham; son, Chris; daughter, Steph (Aaron); grandsons, David (Paige); Devon (Kat); great-grandchildren, Mason and Lily; and many nieces and nephews.
Roger was known for his fun and hilarious conversations, he loved to tell stories and would keep you entertained as long as you wanted to listen. Roger was a Christian known for his devotion to God and also loved to talk about our Lord.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for 12:00 PM on Friday, November 7, 2025 at Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery, 80 Veterans Drive, Evansville, WY 82636. A Reception will follow from 12:30 to 2 PM at The Elks Club.
