Ronald Eugene Bland, long-time Casper, Wyoming resident, was called Home to be with his Savior on Saturday, March 7, 2026. Ronald “Ronnie” Bland was born in Pierre, South Dakota to his loving parents, the late Dwain E. "Ed" Bland and the late Pauline (Polly) E. Bland. He was one of five children. Prior to moving to Casper in 1952, he lived in West Texas and New Mexico. Ron attended various elementary schools, Dean Morgan Junior High School and Natrona County High School. During his years at NCHS Ron excelled in sports and was a stand-out in Diving and Swimming, taking 1st place in the Wyoming State Diving Championship his senior year. After high school Ron became an accomplished photographer and operated a local oil industry-related business. In his spare time Ron loved riding motorcycles, camping, and attending rodeo events.

He leaves behind his partner of many years, Linda Crisp. He is survived by loving family including, daughters Shauna (Ronald) Bland Scott, Veronica Bland (Fritz), and stepdaughter from a previous marriage, Rhonda Tappley (John). Four grandchildren, Joseph Scott, Lauren Scott (Dylan), Elena Scott, and Shaylee Olson; brothers Eddie Bland (Pat), Jerry Bland (Jo), and sister Carol (Barry) Grasseschi in addition to many Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Priscilla “Patty" Bland and brother Lindy Bland. Private graveside services will be held at a later date.
