Roy Vega

Roy Vega, 74, of Casper, WY passed away on September 20, 2026 at Central Wyoming hospice.

Roy was born to the late Celestino Vega and Ysidra Garcia on October 5, 1951 in Lovell, WY. Roy moved to Casper as young adult. He married the late Jean Shumaker in 1978 and divorced in 1992. Roy later married the late Agnes Bell-Jacob in 2010 and was widowed in 2010.

Roy worked for the Casper Event center for 20 years retiring in 2011. He continued to work at Walmart until 2014. He volunteered at Banner Wyoming Medical Center in 2023 until his death. He enjoyed many hobbies. He learned to airbrush and continued to perfect his technique throughout his adult life. He loved photography and used his talent to document his family, friends, and travels. He traveled to Mexico, Canada, Bahamas, and throughout the United States. He had a passion for technology and all the possibilities it offered. He also collected model trains.

Roy is survived by his siblings Rosalia Gutierrez, Jane Sanchez, Esther Vega, Peter Vega, Estelita Delago, Michael Vega, Rudy Vega, Steven Vega, and Debbie Vega. His daughter Jennifer Minor and Grandchildren Isaiah Rodriguez and Peyton Minor.

Roy is proceeded in death by his parents Celestino Vega and Ysidra Garcia, His brother Mark Vega, wife Agnes Bell-Jacob, and granddaughter Gabriella Rodriguez.
