Samantha Renee "Sam" Teachout

October 21, 1984 — December 25, 2025

Listen to Obituary

Samantha R. Teachout fell asleep in Christ Christmas morning, December 25, 2025, in Casper, Wyoming.

She is survived by: her husband, Christopher; three children, Brooklyn, Owen, and Beau; her mother and step father, Susan and Larry; her siblings Katie, Tara, and Aaron; her Aunt Sandy (and husband Tom); as well as nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her grandparents Owen and Martha Meade and her cousin Gregory Smithson.

Sam was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and a dear friend to many. Sam received her Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership from Sienna Heights. She had a passion for working with children as an MA in pediatrics during her career at the University of Michigan.

She loved spending time with family, friends, and crafting. Sam's favorite holiday was Christmas. She loved Christmas so much she would start decorating on her birthday in October. She was a beautiful, caring person inside and out. She would speak her mind and tell you truthfully what she thought, always from a place of love. She rededicated her life to Jesus and was baptized, along with her beloved husband, on January 21st, 2025. She was a true warrior and showed constant grit and determination during her battle with cancer. She never gave up.

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith”. (2nd Timothy 4:7)

A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Jackson Michigan.
