Stephen Hawley Domonkos was born on October 6, 1984, in Casper, Wyoming, and departed this world on October 28, 2025. He spent the majority of his life in Casper, which he loved.
As a child, he loved nature, always enthralled by the abundant wildlife and scenery the mountains had to offer. He was an avid fisherman as soon as he could hold a rod. He was also a daredevil and seemed to be born without fear. Stephen started his soccer career at 5 years old at the YMCA. He quickly grew into a tough, tenacious player who became the heart of any team he was on. He played for the Blades and the varsity team at Natrona County High School, where he lettered for four years. In addition to being a stellar athlete, he effortlessly achieved academic excellence. He graduated in the top ten percent of his class of over 500 students. After high school, he attended Casper College and then on to the University of Wyoming, where he studied Anthropology. He was a musician who taught himself how to play guitar and composed his own music. He was also a gifted visual artist.
Stephen is survived by his parents, Charlotte Kinner (Chris) and Steve Domonkos (Susan Frank), his siblings, Ellen Domonkos White (Joseph), Amy Kountz (Mat), Ryan Kinner (Amber), Stephanie Frank (Gary Nupp), his grandmother, Agnes Domonkos, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Stephen and Ellen Hawley, and Steve Domonkos.
