Listen to Obituary

Stephen Ernest Parker, 78, passed away on November 2, 2025, at Banner Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, WY, with his wife, Judy, at his side. He was born January 13, 1947, in Pocatello, ID, to William and Carolyn Parker and later moved to Idaho Falls where he graduated high school. He spent a year in Lugano, Switzerland at The American School in Switzerland, a highlight of his younger life. He graduated from the University of Denver where he met many lifelong friends. He worked for International Harvester Credit Corporation in Salt Lake City, UT; Scottsbluff, NE; and Denver. He met his future wife, Judy, in Denver and they were married in 1986. When the Denver IH office closed in 1984, he began working at the U.S. Small Business Administration in Casper, WY, a place he and Judy learned to love and where they found many wonderful friends.

Steve was active in Kiwanis, Toastmasters, and Brotherhood of St. Andrew through St. Mark's Episcopal Church, where he will be interred in the columbarium.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Gregory, along with his loved brother-in-law, Duane, and is survived by his wife, Judy, and his niece, Victoria, of Parker, CO.

Steve loved to go camping with former Denver friends, loved having friends over for dinner and loved trips with his wife and brother- and sister-in-law. He will be missed.

No formal funeral service will be held per his wishes. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Seton House, Jason's Friends or the Casper Humane Society.
