Listen to Obituary

Tammy Sue Robinson (Brown) of Riverton, WY passed surrounded by the love of family after a life defined by kindness, generosity, and love on May 28, 2026.

Tammy was born September 1, 1958 to Lorena Kohler, and raised and loved by Lorena and Harvey Kohler. She married the love of her life, Lee Robinson, on September 18, 1992, and together they shared many happy years filled with laughter, family, and treasured memories. Oftentimes, you’d hear Tammy yelling “Robinson!” at her husband, which was a term of endearment and often made others laugh. There was never a dull moment with those two.

She was known for her big heart and her willingness to help anyone in need. If someone needed a hand, she was always the first to show up. She loved spending time with family, playing card games, and creating moments that brought people together.

She had a special love for children and found joy in making others smile. Though she had no children of her own, she touched the lives of many with her warmth, care, and nurturing spirit. Tammy was the first to babysit her nieces and nephew when they were younger, and was often helping friends and even strangers with their childcare.

Tammy also loved animals and there wasn’t a time in her life when she didn’t have a dog or cat. She will be lovingly remembered for making what many considered the best potato salad around. Her kindness, laughter, and caring nature will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Tammy was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Robinson; her mother, Lorena Kohler; her sister, Jody Shaffer; and her grandparents. She is survived by her father, Harvey Kohler; her brother, Tim Brown; her nieces, Kara (Grant) Anderson, Briana (Dan) Rickman, and Shannon (Storm) Abeyta; her nephew, Jacob Nelson; her sister-in-law, Nancy (Ray) Gronewold; as well as numerous cousins and extended family members.

We want to extend a very special thank you to Tammy’s niece Kara and her in-laws, Nancy and Ray, for providing unconditional love and care for her during her final weeks. Your dedication and unwavering love to Tammy has not gone unnoticed. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Paws for Life Animal League in Riverton, WY.
