In Loving Memory of Terence “Terry” Wilson
Terence “Terry” Wilson was born 88 years ago in British Columbia, Canada, the youngest in his family.
He met the love of his life, Wyoma, at a high school dance just across the United States border in Oroville, Washington. Their love story continued through 67 wonderful years of marriage, five children, thirteen grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Throughout his life, Terry faithfully served his country and his community. He served in the United States Army as a helicopter crew chief while stationed in Germany. His diverse career also included working as an orchardist, adjunct political science professor, and police officer. He ultimately retired after many years of dedicated service to the federal government.
In his early twenties, Terry accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. His faith became the foundation of his life, and he lovingly raised his family to know and love the Lord.
Terry had a special place in his heart for children. He spent many years volunteering in children's ministries, sharing God's love and making sure every child knew they were valued and loved.
He also enjoyed hunting, camping, hiking, and exploring national parks with his family. These adventures created treasured memories that his loved ones will carry with them for generations.
On November 2, 2026, Terry Wilson, of Casper, Wyoming, went home to be with his Lord and Savior. He was preceded in death by his two eldest sons and two grandsons, with whom his family finds comfort in knowing he is now reunited.
A memorial service celebrating Terry's life will be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Cornerstone Evangelical Free Church, 4100 Casper Mountain Road, Casper, Wyoming. A light lunch will follow the service.
