T.J. "Tommy" Eugene Burrer

TJ Burrer

 December 8, 1979 - August 2, 2026 

TJ Burrer was born on December 8, 1979, in Denver, Colorado, and was raised in Macon, Georgia. He left this world far too soon on August 2, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of memories, laughter, and love that will remain in the hearts of all who knew him. 

TJ's greatest pride and joy was his family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and uncle, and he loved his family deeply and unconditionally. On April 20, 2001, TJ married the love of his life, Sharon Burrer. Together they built a family and shared 25 years of marriage. TJ was a loving father to Seth Burrer, Ava Burrer, and Kyah Burrer. Later in life, he found another special joy in becoming a grandfather, lovingly known as Pop Pop, to his grandson, Leo James Burrer.

TJ was someone who was always willing to lend a hand. Whether he was helping with the Chive, working in the Man Cave, or simply helping a complete stranger, he never hesitated to be there for someone in need. He had an incredible sense of empathy and cared deeply for anyone and everyone around him. Making people smile was one of the things he loved most. 

He was a devoted Denver Broncos fan and could often be found screaming at the television during every game-as if the players could actually hear him. He had many interests and talents, including sign making, golf, WWE, playing guitar, collecting Pokémon cards, and arm wrestling. He brought enthusiasm and personality to everything he did. 

TJ is survived by his wife of 25 years, Sharon Burrer; his son, Seth Burrer; his daughter, Kyah Burrer; and his grandson, Leo James Burrer. He is also survived by his sisters and brothers, Jodi Burrer (Ben), Ricky Arnell, Kim Gedrose (Jim), Lori Cunningham (Mike), Carmen Davis, Tamie Arnell Powell (Ed), Shawnda Mac (Brandon), Rocky Arnell, and Brandon Williams (Trish); his mother-in-law, Robin Noonan; his sisters-in-law, Sarah Kludy (Dean) and Trish Harns (Colten) and his brother-in-law, Cody Noonan. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Margie Burrer; his father, Gerald Burrer; his beloved daughter, Ava Burrer; his sister, Sherri Arnell; his brother, Randy Arnell; and his brother-in-law, Sonny Taylor. 

TJ will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews, extended family, and dear friends, all of whom held a special place in his heart. TJ may have left us far too soon, but the kindness he showed, the laughter he shared, and the memories he created will live on in everyone fortunate enough to have known him. His generous heart, unforgettable personality, and ability to make people smile will never be forgotten.
