TONY SCOTT LEWALLEN passed away on July 3d, 2026 with his devoted wife by his side. He was born to the late Robert E Lewallen and Margaret Y Jones (Williams) on July 26th, 1959 in Casper, WY. Tony has three brothers, Robert Lewallen (Regina) of Casper, Wesley Lewallen (Tricia) of Kennewick, WA, John Lewallen of Casper and one sister Rhonda Jones of Casper.
Tony graduated from Natrona County High School in 1977. After High School, Tony went to work for Pathfinder Mines in Shirley Basin. At the center of Tony's world was his wife, Karen Rene Maluchnik, whom he married in 1981. Though Karen initially dreamed of having six children they unanimously agreed to settle on two boys, Trinity and Dylancompleting their family with perfect balance. Tony's life was defined by creativity and love for his family. After the closure of Pathfinder Mines, he attended Casper College and went on to be a highly accomplished Ceramist and Painter. Tony also loved camping, hunting (mostly for rocks), cooking and gardening. Tony and Karen loved to Dance!
On April Fool's Day in 2010, while working on an oil painting, Tony suffered a debilitating stroke, he continued painting, creating and enjoying time with his family. Karen along with a plethora of caregivers ensured Tony could remain in the comfort of his own home for more than a decade. Even to his last days he harnessed a sharp wit and a wonderful sense of humor. When he eventually required full-time care, Karen's devotion continued; she visited him every single day, remaining his loving companion and staying by his side until he passed.
Tony is survived by his wife Karen, sons Trinity Lewallen (Diana) and Dylan Lewallen, his three brothers Robert, Wesley, John and sister Rhonda. Bonus Father Tom Jones. Grandchildren, Chase Orr, Meadow Lewallen, Lilly Lewallen and one Great Granddaughter Samara. Tony also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and cousins that he cared so much for.
Tony leaves behind a legacy of beautiful artwork, unbreakable bonds, and an inspiring reminder to never stop creating.
A Celebration Of Life will be held at the Nicolaysen Art Museum on Friday, July 24th at 6:00 P.M.
