Wendy Sue (Mcintosh) Schulte

February 4, 1961 — March 10, 2024

Wendy (McIntosh) Schulte, 63, of Casper, passed away peacefully in her home on March 10, 2024, surrounded by family. She was born in Fargo, ND on February 4, 1961, to Frank and Doris McIntosh, and moved to Casper as a young child where her mother met and wed Elmer Underwood.

She attended Grant Elementary, Dean Morgan JH, and graduated from NCHS in 1979. Later that year she married Michael Roylance, and in 1981 they had a child. She was an executive secretary at Barnard Insurance for many years and later worked at Defense Technology followed by Brown Drew & Massey. On June 24th, 1995, she married Thomas Schulte, and was widowed when he passed away in 2021.

She was very ambitious and creative, always learning how to do something new and expanding her long list of hobbies. She loved the outdoors, going fishing with her friends, and made many motorcycle trips to Sturgis with her partner Larry. She was a loving mother and family was everything to her, and a kind soul with a heart of gold who would do anything within her power to help those in need. Her life was never complete without the many pets she'd had over the years, and she was always happy to make room for another rescue and give them a better life.

She was preceded in death by her father, mother, older brother (Gary), and younger sister (Karen), and is survived by her life partner and best friend Larry Smith, her daughter Kayla Roylance, granddaughters Sydney and Gabby Roylance, brothers Terry Childers and Richard Underwood, niece Emily Underwood, and nephews Drew Underwood, Austin Hoffman, and Nicholas and Tyler Bunney.

A celebration of Wendy's life will be held later this summer, she will be dearly missed by her family, her cats Tripod and Sissy, and all who knew her.
