In Memory Of
Jennie Romero
1928 - 2017

Jennie Romero, 88 went to be with our Lord on the fifth of May, 2017 at Wyoming Medical Center. She was the daughter of Mary (Montez) Madrigal and Vincent Madrigal.

Jennie had two daughters Nita and Lori and one granddaughter Gabby. Jennie was swept off of her feet at a young age and married her sweetheart Joseph Romero in 1949. They were married for 68 years and never spent a day apart. Joe and Jennie were truly each other's sweethearts and have a love that will continue on.

Jennie was a very talented woman whom had many jobs. Her most important was her role of being a stay at home mother and grandmother for most of her life. A fond memory for Jennie was while she was working as an embroiderer for Intermountain Awards. She was able to embroider the actor John Wayne's shirt while he was working in Casper.

Devoted to her family, Jennie was always worried about her loved ones and always wanted to make sure that they were safe and warm on a daily basis. She always made sure that her granddaughter had a coat even if there was no rain or snow in the forecast.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters, and her daughter Lori. Survivors include her husband Joe, daughter Nita, granddaughter Gabby and her husband Ryan, along with many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Jennie's memory.
