Georgia Pearl Irving, age 100, of Casper, passed away October 11,
2017, at Garden Square Assisted Living. Georgia was born November 8,
1916, in South Greenfield, Missouri to George Oscar and Merle
(Wilkins) Daniel.

She grew up in Ault, Colorado, moved to Laramie, Wyoming, and
graduated from Laramie High School. She married Harry H. Irving. While
he was a college student she worked as a secretary for Medicine Bow
National Forest. Harry graduated from the University of Wyoming and
they moved to Powell, Wyoming. During WWII he joined the Navy as a
commissioned officer and Georgia lived in Laramie. When he returned
to Wyoming, Georgia and Harry moved to Wheatland where he worked for
the Farmers Home Administration. They spent the next 12 years in
Wheatland before being promoted to Casper. In Wheatland Georgia
stayed busy with Girl Scouts, 4-H, church volunteer work, and sewing
club. She served many years as an election official. She enjoyed
working in the garden and made jar after jar of apple butter and apple
sauce.

In Casper Georgia was employed by Conoco as an executive secretary
for 26 years. After retirement she became a member of PEO and
delivered Meals on Wheels.

In addition to her parents, Georgia was preceded in death by her
husband. She is survived by her daughters, Sally Ellis, Susan Baker,
and Stephanie Connors; grandsons Stephen Browning, Brant and Kyle
Connors; granddaughters Suzanne Hiatt and Christy Wright; and six
great-grandchildren as well as four step-grandchildren and their
families.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 17, 2017
at Greenside Cemetery in Laramie, Wyoming. Memorial contributions may
be made to Meal on Wheels, Wyoming Rescue Mission, Wyoming Public TV,
or Casper Humane Society.
