Shirley Mae Watson passed away at the Wyoming Medical Center on July 17, 2015. Shirley married the love of her life Harold Watson in Douglas, Wyoming November 6, 1953. To this union 4 children were born. Harold Watson, Jr. of Sheridan WY. Debbie Struckman of Sheridan, WY, Becky Firnekas of Kaycee, WY, and Bill Watson of Casper, WY.
Shirley had a love of gardening and birds, spending may hours outdoors enjoying her hobbies. She was an avid reader and enjoyed going to antique sales and garage sales with her husband, Harold. Shirley and Harold would love long rides in the mountains where she was able to take many pictures of the Wyoming beauty. Her love of crochet allowed her family many of her treasures of blankets, towels and other wonderful items. However her favorite times were spent with her children and grandchildren.
Shirley is preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law, Brad Struckman; and niece, Penny Barnes. Surviving are her husband Harold Watson, of Casper, WY; Harold (Kathy) Watson, Jr. of Sheridan, WY, Debbie Struckman of Sheridan, WY, Becky (Dale) Firenkas of Kaycee, WY, Bill Watson, of Casper, WY; sister, Gloria (Jerry) Payne of Glenrock, WY; brother, Richard (Edith) Stepnick of Douglas, WY; sister, Patty Whiting of Douglas, WY; 7 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. She will be missed greatly by her family.
A private family service will be held in her memory. Memorials in her name may be made to the Campbell County Memorial Hospital in care of Dr. Keith R. Mills, for his work with treating and caring for cancer patients.
