William “Randy” Hopper, 63, passed away on May 2, 2016 at Wyoming Medical Center. He was born on October 4th 1952 in Dodge City, Kansas to Elmer and Gracie Hopper. He married Mary Carey Hopper August 11th, 1973.

Randy was a long time resident of Casper where he lived since graduating from the University of Wyoming. He worked for the Department of Unemployment Insurance with the State of Wyoming for 32 years.

He loved to play golf, watch soccer and watch his children compete in sports.

Randy is survived by his wife of 43 years, Mary Hopper of Casper, his son Christopher (Becky) Hopper of Wisconsin and daughter Amanda (Dylan) Yentes of Casper; one granddaughter Ava; four grandsons, William and Lucas Hopper, Jackson and Henry Yentes and mother Gracie Viola Newton Hopper of Texas, He was preceded in death by his father Elmer Hopper and brother Elmer Cleveland Hopper.

The funeral service will be at 12:00 PM, Thursday, May 5 at Boyd Avenue Baptist Church. Lunch will follow in the fellowship hall of the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, in his name.
