Ronald Scott Townsend died October 15, 2014.

He was a wonderful husband, father, brother, grandpa and great-grandpa.

He truly loved living in Casper. His passion was music and his yard with a view of the mountains. He loved to go for rides. He was a 19 year survivor of a heart transplant. He worked at Burlington Railroad, Cream of Weber Dairy and retired from the City of Casper water treatment plant.

He is the father of Jerry Lee Townsend, Gordon Ray Townsend, Cathy Clarice Pilkington, Debbie Sue Hoffman and Carla Lynn Larsen. He was a proud grandfather of nine grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry; mother and father, Georgia Helen & Orville Townsend and daughter, Debbie Hoffman.

He is survived by his wife, Helen; children, Jerry, Gordon, Cathy and Carla, sister, Joan (Chan) Hopper and nephew Kevin.

Donations may be made in Ronald's name to Central Wyoming Hospice or the charity of the donor's choice.
