In Memory Of
Klea Jean Woodberry
1945 - 2015

Klea Jean Woodberry went to be with her Savior on January 29, 2015. She was a compassionate and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Her joy in life came from her faith, her family, and her painting. She had an incredibly sweet and gentle spirit, she was greatly loved, and will be greatly missed.

Klea was born to Edward and Elna Kent on July 14, 1945 in Milaca, Minnesota. The youngest of five children, she grew up enjoying the lakes and forests of rural Minnesota. Klea met her husband Patrick in Iowa City while they were teenagers and they entered into a lifetime of love. They lived in California, Arizona and New Mexico before settling in Glenrock, Wyoming in 1983. While raising four children together, Klea completed her nursing degree with honors and worked as a nurse for over twenty years. After retiring from nursing, Klea wholeheartedly pursued her love of painting and became an accomplished local artist. She had an eye for capturing the spirit and emotion of landscapes and wildlife. She supported the enjoyment of art in the Glenrock and Casper communities as an active member of the Artists Guild, through helping manage a local gallery, and by working out of her downtown art studio. Throughout her life, she was deeply involved in the lives of her children and grandchildren; she was never happier than when they were by her side. Klea and Patrick enjoyed a rare, lifelong love and were tender sweethearts up to the time of her passing.

Klea was proceeded in death by her parents and her sister Donna Lou Kent. She is survived by her husband, Patrick Woodberry; her children Sarendra (William) Laws and their children Jackson and Adam; Trudy Dooling and her children Katie, Cameron, and Zachary; Sam Woodberry; Mike (Shannon) Woodberry and their children Joshua, Anna, Judah, and Asher; her siblings Corinne (Jim) Jenson of New Brighton, MN, Kurt (Beth) Kent of Gainseville, FL, and Craig (Christine) Kent of Green Bay, WI, and numerous nieces and nephews.

While we grieve the loss of Klea's life, we celebrate the grace and joy with which she lived. She had the quiet strength of the mountains and the tender touch of fresh snow on the prairie, just like the Wyoming landscapes she loved to paint. She loved the Lord and she loved others, leaving us an example to follow. We mourn with confident hope, knowing she is free from pain and with her Lord. "Well done, good and faithful servant...Enter into the joy of your Master!" Matthew 25:21.
