Cody J. James, 46, passed away at his home in Casper, WY on January 8th, 2017.
Cody was born on November 15th, 1970 in Newcastle, WY to Melvyn and Beverly (Hartnett) James. He grew up with three brothers in Casper, WY and graduated from Kelly Walsh High School in 1989 and Casper College in 1991 with a degree in Diesel Mechanics.
Cody married Charlette Anderson on August 15th, 1992 in Casper, they had two daughters together, Melissa Cody and Jewliana Hope. Cody spent most of his career in the Oil and Gas Industry and was working for Moser Engine Services at the time of his death.
Cody enjoyed caving, hunting, camping and spending time with his family and friends.
Cody is survived by his wife Charlette, of 24 years; his daughters Melissa and Jewliana James; his three brothers, John James and his wife Lisa, Ricky James and Donald James.
Cody was preceded in death by his parents Melvyn and Beverly James and his sister, Vicky.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, January 13th at 1:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home-Casper Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to an Educational Fund for his Daughters, Melissa and Jewliana James.
