In Memory Of
Gary G. Way
1943 - 2017

Gary was born Aug. 23, 1943 in Columbus, NE to Howard and Harriet Way. His life adventure started from the sand hills of NE to WY and then Alaska and back. He held many jobs at which he excelled-you name it and he probably did it. He wore many hats, many badges and touched many lives.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Diane, 2 sons Greg (Jodi) Way and Justin Way, 3 daughters, Lori Way, Lisa (Jim) Warfel and Colleen Way, nephew Kevin (Bonnie) Way, sister-in-law Becky way; 3 nieces; Gabriella (Jerry) Rulison, Charleen (Baltazar) Mamon, and Kristin (Stan) Soboleski.

Gary’s posterity is 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren so far. Gary leaves behind so many but he will be remembered, loved and revered for his hard work, his zest for life, his smile, his great stories, his stubbornness, his love of animals and the outdoors, his teaching ability and so many other outstanding qualities.

His education started out a little rough in a one room school house. He always said he went to 12 schools in 12 years. He graduated from Cheyenne East High School. At the age of 43 he entered as a freshman at UW then went on to law school graduating at 50 years old.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, sister and 2 brothers. He lost a son Jeffry Jay, at 10 days of age.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, December 1, 2017 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2627 E. 7th Street in Casper, from 11:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Services at 1:00 p.m. in the Church. Burial will be held privately at a later date.
