Marguerite "Maggy" Elaine Stone, age 75, of Casper, passed away October 19, 2018 at Shepherd of the Valley Care Center. Maggy was born May 17, 1943 in Electra, Texas to John and Elaine (Meloy) Gallagher. When Maggy was 3 years old, her and her family relocated to Casper, Wyoming. She graduated from Natrona County High School in 1961. She married Robert Stone on June 3, 1961 in Casper. She was employed as a Telephone Operator/ Dispatcher for more than 33 years at Mountain Bell. Maggy enjoyed doing arts and crafts, sewing, and making quilts and bags.
In addition to her parents, Maggy was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 37 years, Robert J. Stone Sr, 3 brothers, John, Mike and Chris Gallagher. She is survived by her son, Robert (JoAnn) Stone, Jr., Daughter, Julie (Dennis) Grote, Son, Gary Stone, brothers, Haw and Pat Gallagher, sisters, Rosanne Lara, Mary Fenton, and Suzanne Larson, grandchildren, Bridget (Jason) Miller, Tiffany Stone, Taylor Grote, T.J. Grote, Chloe Stone, and Brody Stone, great-grandchildren, Jasper Stone and Arianna Miller.
