Richard Eugene Bush passed away in his home December 18, 2018. Richard was born November 7, 1944 in Wagner, SD, to Tillie Honomichl Bush and Clarence E. Bush.

He attended Hyannis High School in Hyannis, NE. In 1965 he was drafted into the U.S. Army. He spent one year in Vietnam. He was always proud to be a Vietnam Veteran. After his discharge he attended Sidney Votec College, learning to be a diesel mechanic. In 1972 Richard married Arvilla Varley of Bridgeport, NE. They were married 47 years. Forty-four of those years they lived in Bar Nunn, WY.

Richard's career always revolved around his mechanic training, mostly working on diesel trucks.

Richard enjoyed his life. He was always joking with, or teasing someone, making those around him laugh and smile. He loved camping, fishing, snowmobiling, gardening, and showing his 1968 Mustang.

He was a lifetime member of the Veteran's of Foreign Wars, an active member of the Oil City Capitol Auto Club, and a competitive pool player of two different leagues for over 20 years.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents; a brother; and a sister. He leaves to mourn, his wife, Arvilla of Bar Nunn, WY; brother, Earl (Betty) Bush of Alliance, NE; sister, Betty (Randy) Turman of Hay Springs, NE; a multitude of relatives and wonderful friends.

A Military Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, January 4, 2019 at the Oregon Trail State Veteran's Cemetery in Evansville, WY.

A memorial has been established for V.F.W. Post 9439, 1800 Bryan Stock Trail, Casper, WY 82601.
