1928 - 2019

Doris "Duffy" P. Anderson 91 passed away peacefully on August 3rd 2019 at Central Wyoming Hospice in Casper Wyoming, surrounded by her loving family. Doris was born on June 23rd 1928 to Millie Mae Matson and Johnny W. Starnes in Houston Texas. She moved to Casper Wyoming in the summer of 1960. Doris Married Percy G Anderson Jr. on September 11th 1982. They had many wonderful memories together. Doris had many pleasures and hobbies. She was a loving wife, and devoted Mother to 8 children. She was a wonderful grandmother to many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. She loved spending time with family and she made friends nearly everywhere she went. She spent numerous hours beautifying and working in her yard and gardens. She was a volunteer at Natrona County Meals on Wheels for 25 years +. Doris was a longtime member at Highland Park Community church. She enjoyed traveling, snowmobiling and dancing. She was an amazing gourmet cook without the classes.

She is proceeded in death by her parents and one son, Mike Butler.

She is survived by her husband, Percy Anderson and her 7 children, son, Randy and Rita Butler, Daughter, Glenda and Eric Beeson, Son, Rob and Dorothy Butler, son, Dude and Karen Butler, son, David Anderson, son, Alan and Maria Anderson, daughter, Amy and Bart Owen and 37 3/4 Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

Services will be held on Thursday August 8th at 10:30 am at Newcomer Casper Chapel. A graveside will be held right after at Wyoming Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to Natrona County Meals on Wheels or Central Wyoming Hospice of Casper.
